Our Old Melissa Daycare building has been transformed into a new community events and youth activities center taking on its new name, OKA’N Welcome Center. We are now open for business!
We have 90 sq. ft. office spaces for lease. Indoor and outdoor event areas for lease at 4-hour reservation blocks. Media & Podcast Studio for lease at 2-hour reservation blocks. We have a kitchen with a refrigerator & microwave available for prep space during your events. Our grounds house an approximately 1-mile long, hiking trail through our community’s rare oak savanna’s.
The Community Development Corporation of Pembroke-Hopkins (CDC) owns the OKA’N Welcome Center. The CDC's charter does not align with any political or religious organizations. Our goal is to stay neutral and provide solutions that enhance community development and connections.
