Pembroke Township Board of Trustees have passed the following ordinances to define, prevent and abated this list of nuisances.
These listed nuisances carry a $500 fine per offense plus administrative expenses:
Dumping garbage - Dumping or depositing night soil, garbage, compost, junk, trash, refuse or other offensive substances on public or private property.
Keeping fighting animals - Keep, use or be connected with management of any room, place or building or other premises for purpose of fighting and baiting any dog or other animals.
Shooting - Shooting is permitted Saturday and Sunday only 1:00 - 4:00 pm on the citizens own property only except during hunting season.
Illinois law requires all shooters to present a valid Illinois FOID card.
ATV's, motorcycles, snow mobiles, dirt bikes, etc. - All vehicles shall adhere to signs with miles posted and obey speed limits.
Illinois law prohibits ATV's on the public roads.
